Nahed Awwad has worked in television and cinema since 1997. With a degree in Television Communication and Video Direction (Conway School, Canada), she has also studied documentary production (European College of Cinema, Denmark).
Nahed Awwad works at the Institute for Modern Media in Ramallah as an editor and then as an editing instructor. She works with a number of Palestinian directors and artists (Michel Khleifi, Khalil Rabah, Vera Tamari). In 2002, she begins directing her own films; Awwad has directed numerous documentaries.
