Baba Touré was born on 18 February 1976 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
1992
At 16, he participated with his band Ujenlac to the national competition organized by the Ministry of Culture. He won the finals with the interpretation of Simpa a pace Aoussa Ghana. A tape was recorded five titles studios Touré Sound in Yopougon.
1993
Baba Touré joined Salif Coulibaly director of Djolem, structure distribution of the neighborhood and especially a famous troupe of Abidjan, one of the best in Côte d'Ivoire. They leave for a nine-month tour through West Africa, stopping at each village as true artists nomads. It was Baba Touré for a real area of enrichment and training.
1994
II becomes chief percussionist. It goes on many tours in Europe and Africa.
1998
Baba Touré moved to France with a first employment contract to become a professor of percussion at Rennes.
1999
It is the year of establishment of the group's name Attoungblan speakers played drums in sacred ceremonies. It offers a traditional style.
2000
He joined the team of trainers from the school Tam Tam Mandingo in Brussels led by Mamady Keita, Guinean master of percussion.
2002
Baba Touré saves Daakan (FontiMusicali / Dom) his first album in Abidjan inviting 28 artists from across West Africa. It calls for arrangements to Gilbert Sidimady Diabaté of Guinea. It is surrounded by Sékouba percussionist Traore of Mali and Guinea Moussa Condé artist.
2003
Baba Touré is scheduled with his band at the 25th Rencontres Attoungblan Transmusicales of Rennes.
2004
French tour in the first part of Mamady Keita & Sewa Kan, Master of Percussion Tour.
2005
It is marked by Didier Granet that the program at the 22nd Francophonies Limousin.
2007
Baba Touré occurs alongside Seckou Keïta in Lyon with the strings of the Symphony Orchestra conducted by Philippe Lyonnais Fournier created in 1000 for an evening djembes in collaboration with director Doug Manuel Sewa Beats in Geneva.
2008
Baba Touré went two creations: creating Afro-Breizh with bagad Cesson Sévigné (35) directed by Bob Guernigou for a show Afro breizh / music fusion Apollo afro beat and traditional music. As in the popular districts of Abidjan, the artists are on the streets like a jam session where the singers repeat virtuosity. For Baba, a new sound he proposes for public festival Complet'Mandingue in Saint-Brieuc. Baba Touré invited Hadja Kouyaté famous cherry Guinean origin.
Since 2000, Baba Touré drive each year internships in Europe (Brussels, Poitiers, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Toulouse...).
