Amina Abdoulaye MAMANI is a film director, screenwriter and producer. Her passion for cinema quickly led her to train at the African Documentary Film Forum in Niamey in 2008.
In 2012, she completed her studies at IFTIC (Institut de Formation aux Techniques de l'Information et de la Communisation) in Niamey, Niger.

Amina Abdoulaye MAMANI made her film debut with her graduation documentary Hawan idi which won 1st prize for best school documentary films at Fespaco 2013.

She then multiplied internships and training to build a cinematographic career: Télé Sahel (in the production and production department), Inter-media agency in Niger and mainly at Cinedoc films in France where she spent a year for training in writing and to the realization of documentary author, from where she directs, "The silence of the papers", 26mn.

In 2018, after a long research work, she releases "In the footsteps of Mamani Abdoulaye", her first documentary feature film (a film portrait of her father). Selected at about fifteen international festivals, special mention of the jury at the International Festival of Engaged Cinema of Algiers, TV5 Prize for the best feature film at the Documentary Festival of Saint Louis/Senegal. This film is also shown in universities in an academic setting: African Studies Center Leiden University Netherlands, University of Toronto.

As Associate Producer, she co-produced the short film TAAJABONE (F. Batithily, Annette Mbaye d'Erneville Award, at Dakar Court 2021).

In 2019, she completed a production training at Cinékap in Senegal and joined the KOUDOUGOU Doc team in 2020.

She is the daughter of the late writer Abdoulaye MAMANI (author of the novel Sarrounia, adapted to the cinema by the Mauritanian Med Hondo).
