Tayda Film was founded by film producer and director Belkacem Hadjadj. The company has produced "Papicha", Mounia Meddour's first feature-length film and has set up the first post-production studio in Algeria. The company is also linked to Machahou Production which has produced 5 feature-films and is currently in pre-production for Belkacem's next film "Un amour à la Casbah".
