Christian Hauvette likes to describe himself as an "architect-mechanic". He designed the building that houses the Martinique education office, like a machine, producing air conditioning solely through its architectural features. The film demonstrates the ingenuity of this project whilst revealing some of the debate surrounding its unusual design.
