Corbucci, a private detective of Corsican and Ivoirian descent, hasn't picked an easy case for his first investigation, nor does he go about it with any great subtlety. Smitten by a gorgeous blonde from Geneva, he tackles a huge scam organised by a network of extremely powerful plastic surgery clinics in Marseille, who have the police, politicians and mafia in their pocket. For a first job, that means a lot of enemies all at once. Fortunately an old - but not bent - cop is keeping a close eye on him, and just about manages to negotiate a way out: he simply has to suffer a severe beating.
