I spent seven days on a wooden pirogue at large of Dakar in Senegal with fishermen who practice tide fishing. With as little intervention as possible from my part, I documented soberly their work in all it's complexity and all it's nobility. I invite you to embark upon this journey that is at times demanding but always very human, and to discover these workers of the sea's reality. This short documentaryis also a direct cinema laboratory, studying the influence of a foreign element within a confined cinematic environment.
