Baaba is a cop in Belleville, a neighbourhood he has never left, much to the despair of his girlfriend who is trying to get him to finally live with her, somewhere else, far from his mother. One evening, Roland, his childhood friend, is murdered before his eyes. Baaba takes his place as a liaison officer at the French Consulate in Miami, in order to find his killer. In Florida, flanked by his overbearing mother, he is taken in hand by Ricardo, a local cop with a bad temper. Forced to team up, the explosive duo leads the investigation...
