Malick, the director of the feature documentary, is a Muslim believer. He decides to join Dawa, an Islamic brotherhood movement from Pakistan and India. This movement has established in Mali proclaiming a return to Islamic sources. Years later, an Islamic rebellion takes control of Northern Mali to impose Charia law. Among the Djihadist leaders are many leaders of the Dawa movement.
