This movie is based on the minutes of the Berlin conference of 1885, where European diplomates divided up black Africa. Using documented fiction and the interviews of historians, the film tells about the territorial lust that reined at the conference and sealed the fate on the whole continent for many long years without its people having any say in the matter.
