Jim Kroft is a British musician and filmmaker who has lived in Berlin since 2007 and is now touring through East Africa with his project "Journeys".

The project started in autumn of 2014, after he was invited to tour in Russia and China. A project with no boundaries, "Journeys" is an exploration of the world by one man, one guitar and one camera. Jim Kroft releases one Journeys EP every quarter and each EP is inspired by the continent he has traveled to. As part of the project he is filming a documentary about every country visited and so Jim's music becomes the soundtrack to the journey. It is a project about the discovery of the world and of our own potential, with the belief that music remains the great connector.

While stopping in Nairobi, Jim is connecting with the Kenyan-German singer/songwriter Maia von Lekow and together they present a soulful, acoustic evening.
