Dorothee Wenner, born in 1961, has lived and worked in Berlin since 1988 as a freelance filmmaker and journalist. She has been on the selection committee of the International Forum of New Cinema since 1990 and serves as the Berlinale's special representative for India and sub-Saharan Africa. From July 2004 to December 2005 she curated the EU-funded project "Import Export: Cultural Transfer between India and Germany, Austria." She became the director of the Berlinale Talent Campus in August 2006.
As a documentary filmmaker and author, Dorothee Wenner engages intensively with issues of migration and intercultural dialogue. Her work demonstrates her special expertise in Indian culture and film. Wenner also applies her competence to her role as a juror at international film festivals and in film funding institutions.

The Berlinale Talent Campus is an initiative of the Berlin International Film Festival, a business division of the Kulturveranstaltungen des Bundes in Berlin GmbH, in co-operation with MEDIA - Training programme of the European Union, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, Federal Foreign Office, Skillset and UK Film Council as well as Volkswagen.

Dorothee Wenner arbeitet als Journalistin und Regisseurin in Berlin. Seit 1990 ist sie Mitglied des Auswahlkommitees Internationales Forum des Jungen Films. Sie ist auch als Delegierte der Berlinale für die Regionen Indien und Subsahara tätig. 2006-2007 leitet sie den Berlinale Talent Campus. Peace Mission wurde auf über 20 internationalen Filmfestspielen gezeigt.
