Doctoral student co-supervised at Université Laval (history) and EHESS (anthropology), co-supervised by Bogumil Koss-Jewsiewicki (U. Laval), Jean-Paul Colleyn (EHESS) and Nathalie Fernando (UdeM)
A self-taught filmmaker, he divides his time between filmmaking, research and music production. His research focuses on the different musical categories of Congolese cities in their relationship to everyday life.
He will work on the project dealing with aesthetics and will contribute to the problematic axes of the categorisation and transmission of musical heritage. He will also develop analytical and methodological tools, particularly in the field of visual anthropology.
