Akofa Asiedu has been critically acclaimed as Ghana's best actress. She attended the St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School for sixth form. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts, which she earned from the University of Ghana, Legon.
Akofa is a multi award-winning actress with laurels from all over the world. She kept us spellbound in the late 1990s on the GTV classic Ultimate Paradise. After that Akofa continued to star in movies like Divine Love, the BBC Television's Holby City, and the award-winning My Mother's Heart among others.
Akofa recently branched into production with the release of her maiden film Fools in Love, an exceptional portrayal of a love gone sour. Akofa is also Vice-President of the Turning Point Film Fund.
