Born on 18 March 1956, Laurent BILLARD is a Film Director and Producer. In cinema, he has collaborated on several films directed by Claude Berri, as well as a film by Roman Polanski, "Tess". He has directed many documentaries, including a series of portraits of filmmakers: "Un Certain regard du Sud" which includes, among others, portraits of Mediterranean filmmakers including: Elia Suleiman, Mohamed Malass, Mohamed Chouikh, Avi Mograbi, Yasmine Kassari, Nourid Bouzid, Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Koreige, but also the portrait of Jacques Demy, Amos Gitaï, Paul Carpita, etc...
