He was born in 26 august 1961 in Montreuil.
In1991 he obtains his DEA of "Géographie and practice of the development in the Third World "at the School of High Studies in Social Sciences. He starts, since 1994, some works on the populations of several countries and begins with the Turkish community in France. After having stopped photography during two years, he restarts his study in 1997 in Paris and Marseille where he follows different families. He continues his personal work "Intranquilles Days" in Algeria in 2002. In the same time, Bruno Boudjelal has a mission by the DDE of the Bouches-du Rhône in 1999 to carry out a work on the road landscape of this department.
