A ten year old girl and her eight-year old brother share a pair of shoes to go to school. One day, their house is bombed.

This takes place in a peaceful Jamahiriya Libyan countryside. A peasant lives there in peace with his wife, his daughter, and his son. The children go to school and live totally fulfilled with their parents until the day... when bullets crackle. That created havoc in the family: one dead and two crippled.
