Avi Mograbi's documentary Z 32 is about the recollections of a young elite soldier who participated in an Israeli army revenge campaign in which Palestinian policemen were killed. Guilt, responsibility, repression, forgiveness as well as the position of the filmmaker himself are the subjects for debate. Z 32 bears witness to the consequences of a military logic as well as the dilemma that comes about from seeking a new form of representation.
