The choreographer Abou Lagraa and his wife, the dancer Nawal Lagraa, with the intention of bringing together the cultures of the Mediterranean, work in Algiers to set up the first academy of contemporary dance in Algeria. For the opening performance, "Nya", Abou and Nawal Lagraa have chosen ten nonprofessional street dancers. The film describes their emotions, fears, tensions, and the development of an innovative cultural experience, during the day of rehearsals that will end with the evening of the première at the National Theatre of Algiers.
