Theodore is fiftyyear old widower; he lives with his 18year old daughter Elise who suffers from leukemia and is about to die. After cutting all links with hospitals, Theodore appealed to a witch doctor to cure her. Despite attempts by the witch doctor, the latter failed to save the girl. As he failed, Theodore refuses to accept the death of Elise.
