Fresh Paint II is the sequel of the first anthology of literary vignettes by Kenyan women under the same title that was published in 2011.

The successful partnership between the Goethe-Institut Kenya and AMKA has not only led to more women venturing into writing on a regular basis but also the publication of the second volume of poems and short stories.

Over the last 6 years the Literature Forum has grown from strength to strength, not just in the number of regular participants but also in the quality of texts presented for discussion or performed by the writers.

Through a panel discussion, readings and performances by some of the writers, we will showcase the progress made by the Literature Forum so far.
