Angola: Lulendo's native land, his source of inspiration. Numerous images and sounds engraved in his memory: the traditional Bakongo rhythms, the drums in Luanda's slums, the sound of the likembe in the village, the Cuban legacy. A modernised likembe that can be amplified and tuned to harmonise with other instruments.
Arrangements by Argentinean Lalo Zanelli and Cameroonian Claude Di Bongue to highlight the album's African and Latin facets. Noteworthy guests, such as Didier Lockwood, John Anthony Helliwell, Claude Samard and Magic Malik. All this makes for an album that resembles Lulendo as he is today: half African, half Western.
