To celebrate the 10th edition the program of the festival will content more films and guests than ever. We will present more than 40 films from 16 different African countries and we have invited more than 10 filmmakers, f.e. Khaled El Hagar (Egypt), Balufu Bakupa-Kanyinda (RD Kongo), Jihan El-Tahri (Egypt), Nouri Bouzid (Tunesia), Alain Gomis (Senegal/France). Newton Aduaka (Nigeria), Tagreed Elsanhouri (Algeria), the collective "Yes thats us" (Uganda), the anti-colonial filmgroup "remember resistance" (Berlin) and many others.

One of the opening films will be "war child", the documentary about the life of Emmanuel Jal from his time as a child in the civil war in Sudan to his career as internationally acclaimed Rap-Star. The day after the screening Emmanuel Jal will give a concert with his band.

There also will be a tribute concert for Fela Kuti (by Nigerian musicians and some of his former band members) as well as other live acts for the opening (musicans from Guinea) and the closing (a singer from Sierra Leone).

There will be a screening of an African film in jail and special screenings for schools in the morning.
